Red Bench Designs came to life in 2004, shortly after the birth of my son, Jack and my “retirement” from being an Elementary school teacher for nearly 10 years. I just needed something … so it’s pretty simple: A love of kids. A love of design. A love for classic, simple jewelry. And a “working woman” with the desire to be a stay-at-home Mom.

I began making jewelry for friends and family, and it was getting rave reviews. With a little encouragement (and prodding) from those I trust, I took some of my pieces to a local craft fair. Red Bench Designs was an overnight success. The response was overwhelming … and the more pieces I made, the more the orders started pouring in.
